Stručný obsah:
Laura vyrůstala v sirotčinci na mořském pobřeží a po třiceti letech se spolu s manželem a synem vrací do míst dětství. Ráda by znovu otevřela opuštěný ústav jako domov pro postižené děti. Její syn se však na novém místě začíná chovat zvláštně a Laura se pomalu přesvědčuje, že starý dům má své hrůzostrašné tajemství, o kterém neměla ani potuchy!
