Stručný obsah:
V Paříži roku 1910 vládne panika. Rozruch ve městě působí děsivý tvor, který je na útěku. V patách je mu hrozivý komisař Maynott se svými muži. Příšerka naštěstí najde útočiště v pěveckém kabaretu po boku místní hvězdy, krásné a srdečné Lucille. Ta se společně s výstředním vědcem a jeho vznětlivou opicí snaží neškodnou příšerku zachránit.
