Stručný obsah:
Jimmi (Eddie Griffin) je mladý, tak trochu lehkomyslný Američan a pořádná práce mu moc nevoní. Takže když v novinách objeví soutěž, ve které může vyhrát hospodu a zjistí, že jediné, co musí udělat, je napsat báseň, neváhá ani vteřinu. A protože jeho znalosti zeměpisu nejsou nijak závratné, myslí si, že vyhrát hospodu v Irsku, je to největší terno. Irsko je přeci ostrov a to znamená, že je tam teplo a spousta krásek v bikinách. Je jasné, že Jimmiho čeká po příjezdu do Irska pořádný šok. Ale nejen jeho. Obyvatelé městečka rozhodně nečekali, ž novým hostinským bude rapující černoch.
