Stručný obsah:
V tomto významném díle F. Felliniho, které je považováno za jedno z nejradikálnějších, je hrdinou filmový režisér Guido Anselmi, který se ocitl v profesionální a osobní krizi. Z této situace jej však, jak se zdá, nemohou dostat ani nové filmové projekty, ani ženy.
